This is a book where people stare out windows and wonder what the heck is going on. Generally written in an older style it's at a whopping AR 6.6 reading level (mid sixth-grade reading level) with 14.0 points.Īnd given that reading level and the fact that there is not a flow of constant action, that many readers are used to having, I'd say this book is going to appeal to younger readers who are patient and willing to let the story take it's time as it unfolds.

The Sirens were now close enough for him to see their crimson mouths open in a scream, pale faces blazing with white-hot anger, their bird claws tearing at the air."
